One Cold Winter Day
Once upon a time there lived a girl named Alisson she lived in Iqualuit, with her mother, father and her sister. Her Moms favourite hobbie was cooking and baking. Her Dads favourite hobbie was building igloo's and her sister's favourite hobbie was skating with her sister Alisson.Alisson was a bright happy child, she had black thick hair and brown eyes }. Alisson's sister , Karen was 3 years older than her sister Alisson. Karen had black thin hair and brown eyes. She was a little bossy.
One day Alisson called her sister Karen to go skating with her, so they went to the lake near them. Alisson did flips and jumps that she jumped so high on the ice that when she came she broke through and fell into the freezing cold water. Since it was Winter the water was really, really cold.
The next day was Monday (a school day). So Karen had to come from school early so she could check on her sister. Meanwhile, Alisson was sneezing and coughing. She sneezed so loud, particles of water came all in the igloo. The igloo fell. After that sneeze she didn't cough or sneeze. In fact, she felt much much better. That meant her body knew how to fight the cold. The next day she went to school, and did her daily routines.

My Dream Vacation
One day I won the lottery and the money was 10,000,000 dollars,so my parents decided to go to Yugposlavia { my home town.} The reason they picked Yugoslavia is because we have a lot of relitives, cousins and grandparents. Then my parents decided to fly all the way to Mexico. We went to a five star hotel in Mexico, Cacun we went there last year so we knew it was a good place to go. the hotel was near the ocean and was called Rio Teqila. There we spent 3 more weeks. There we went to Xelha which was a natural waterpark filled with dolphins and beautiful fish You would snorkel and see the scary wonderful fish. You would snorkel underwaterfalls and caves build by nature when the Mayons lived. The Mayans used the water source for drinking since it was not saltynearthere there was a lot of caves to look in , there were gold and minerals in the them. When we came back I hoped we wuld go again again.

THE FATS KIDS DREAM
On Friday December 19th,2003 Dave Devoe came to Manordale Public School and showed all the junior classes which were grade 4,5 and 6 how it felt be bullied. It was a one man show so he played three differerent charracters Edgar,the bullied person, Edgar's mom,and Edgar's best friend who became his worst enemie.
He described how he used his voice to describe the three different characters. Dave Devoe used crying and yelling to describe how he felt when he was getting bullied as Edgar . He used a highvoice to be Edgar's mother and used a deep loud voice to be Marten. Dave Devoe also had a small blue lunch box with pudding and 4 yellow chairs to help kids see the message he was telling threw a play. Dave Devoe used three characters in his play they were Edgar, Marten and Edgar's mother.He played all three of those characters. After we asked grade 4, 5 and 6's what they thought about the play. Majority said they liked it but some said that he should have used more stuff to explain what the message was. What I thought about the play is that he is gave a positive message not to bully!

On December 24th my family's tradition is to go to Chigago and stay there for 12 days at my uncle's house. Meanwhile I get presents at my Uncle's house. When I come back to my house the my house there are presents under the Christmas tree. My house is sparkling by lights because the time I come back it is dark. On Christmas Eve it is my uncle's birthday. I also celebrate Yugoslavian Christmas it is in January. I like my Tradition thart I celebrate both Canadian and Yugoslavian Christmas.I like spending time with my family on Christmas Eve. My other uncle and Aunt live in Canada so I also get presents from them too. |

The teacher of doom.It was Halloween day. My teacher had a pointy
hat and spiders crawling in the classroom. Everybody was dressed in
scary, funny or weird costumes and make-up.In a few minutes it would
be recess. RING RING. All the students went rushing out . The
yelling. The screaming gave me headaches. When we came in our teacher
Ms.Funkmaster said we're going to the lab of doom. I had a few
seconds to think.What in the world was she thinking about the lab of
doom?"Line up kids" Ms.Funkmaster said in a screechy voice.We all
shook of terror . We didn't Know where Ms.Funkmaster was going to
take us. At last Ms. Funkmaster said " Take your seats boys and
girls" It was the Computer lab what a relief. Mean while Ms.
Funkmaster gave us 3888 page A.S ,400 pages of journal and last but
not least 280 books to read. "Wow "said Sarah. Sarah was the youngest
girl in the classroom. She had dark brown eye light brown hair and
was a little worried all the time.I was still confused about why
every one was wearing costumes.At last it was the end of the day.

The Thanksgiving that went Weird
It was early Monday morning in other words
Thanksgiving. So many guests came rushing in you couldn't hear a
thing. Pretty soon it became a loud party.It was 6 o-clock in the
morning. My Mom was making turkey after 3 and a half hours the food
was fresh and ready to eat. While my Dad was putting up decorations
that we bought from Michals. Meanwhile my dog Holly pushed the ladder
my Dad went flying luckily my Dad landed on his feet. After we had
dinner we had Turkey,mash potatoes and many more. For dessert we had
apple pie. That was the weirdest Thanksgiving ever!! back

My best friend is Kara because she is someone who is loyal you can always trust her and can talk about things. My other best friend is Alex she is also loyal and kind.i have lots of other friends but out of all my friends my best friends are alex and Kara and Alex. Kara is 9 years old has dark brown hair,brown eyes. Her birthday is on June 8. Alex has dirty blond hair and green eyes her birthday is on June 21. They probably will be my friends for a long time !

In my spare time I like to play piano, draw pictures or watch T.V with my friends or family. As I am becoming older,I find I enjoy more and more sport activities
Since I was five years old, I have participated in rhythmic gymnastics classes and I am very proud of my team's achiement . Last year my team won second place in a local competion. In two weeks I am starting a new activity -syncronized swimming. I am very exited about that. My favourite sport activity in winter is downhill sking because I can go so fast and I can go on jumps and do neat things. My favourite "summer" sport is swimming because I can do all kinds of figures in the water.
Now that we have been in school for 7 days.I feel O.K about my teachers and classmates.This year we are learning about intelligences.I think I am a Linguistic artistic Visual learner. We are even going to make are own website it is very cool. Are teacher is really nice and smart.On the first day of school I felt nervous,but now I don't. My hardest teacher was Mrs.Drummond because she gave us an enormous amount of homework.But it was still fun. My easiest teacher was Ms. Biggs she was really nice.We always had lots of fun. This Fall I learned lots of things like fractions divison and many more things. Report cards are coming soon I hope to get good grades.
