On December 19th, 2003, Dave Devoe came to Manordale Public School. Dave Davoe came to show the junior grades ( which were 4,5, and 6s) how it felt being bullied. In Dave Davoe's play he acted as 3 characters: Edgar, Marten his best friend, ad Edgar's mom. It was also a one man show. He acted as 3 characters by using his voice, posture, and actions.
The play was about Edgar being bullied by his best friend Marten. Dave Davoe used 4 chairs and a lunch box with sandwich and pudding. Dave Davoe wore overall and a white and green striped t- shirt. Edgar was sitting on all 4 chairs at different times.
Edgar didn't want to put his feet on the floor because if he puts his feet on the floor Edgar might walk to the to the door and if he walks to the door he might get bullied and Edgar wouldn't like to be bullied. Edgar didn't want to tell his mom because then his mom would ask Edgar a lot of questions. His dad was at work at most of the times so then Edgar couldn't talk to his dad about things that have happened in his past life.
Most of the students got the meaning and liked it but some of the students didn't like the play or even get the meaning of the play.
On this December I'm planning to
go to Hong Kong and visit my cousins, aunt, uncle, my
grandmothers, and my grandfather. I'm planning to leave on Christmas
Eve after my Mom and Dad finish working. My family will go home and
pick up our luggage and then my mom's friend will pick us up and drop
us off at the airport. When we arrive we will see our grandparents. I
like to live at Hong Kong because it is never snows or it never gets
cold. When I come home it is already in the afternoon. We will open
our presents.

My Dream Vacation
One day I was so tired I went swimming, skating, running, and I got to watch a movie. When I came home I ate dinner then I went to bed.
I was having a dream about me going all around the world. Going to Europe, China, Greenland, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Rome and much more.
I was dreaming that I saw the Eiffel Tower, CN Tower, the beach in Mexico, Niagara Falls and special things from all around the world.
When I woke-up I told my mom I had a dream vacation. She asked me where did I go? I said all around the world! I went to see special things from all around the world too!
My most favourite place of all was the Niagara Falls it was beautiful. The water sounded splashy. The water felt cool. The fireworks were beautiful. My mom asked if she could come along with me next time. But she can only come if she has the same dream as me.

My best frind is Sonya because she is a great friend, someone who is fun, dependable, someone who listens and someone to talk to. She is also helpful. Whenever I get hurt she always tells the teacher that I am hurt because she doesn't want me to get hurt and that's what friends do for each other. I can always trust her because she never lies and she helps me with my work sometimes. Becoming friends is a very good thing to do. My second best friend is Alex. She is a good friend because she is fun and Sonya too. They always be my best friend. Alex has dirty blond hair, blue eyes, and wears purple and turquise all the time. Sonya has brown eyes, golden brown hair, and she always wears blue, brown and white.
It was the first day of school when I entered the horrible, no good, very bad door that entered into the school. I never liked school. Not even the teachers. When I wondered who was my teacher. One was Mrs.Gloop she was very, terrible, unrissistable. Mr.Glue wasn't okay at all. He would always bring seafood and vegetables and last of all, the meanest teacher in the world, Mrs.Strict. She was very mean. She would give 100 pages of language, 200 pages of math, and you would have to write a 6,000 pages of journal. When I went inside my classroom and I saw Mrs.Strict she had 25 work books when there was olny 12 students! I felt very scared and when I started to do my homework and at midnight I woke up and I went to school a few weeks later... More homework but I didn't do it. I got expeled. What a relief.
Reading, swimming, biking, and watching television. Those are some of things people like doing in there spare time. When I was younger I liked to take naps and playing house and looking at picture books. Now that I am older I think that reading, biking, scootering, and painting is better than playing house and taking naps. But I still like looking at picture books. Some of my friends like to swim, dance, and read. But when I have spare time I read a book or watch television. This may not sound exciting but it is for me. I enjoy reading books because I like a lot of adventures in the books. The only thing I need to like this activity is because I like reading the adventures in the book. The weather doesn' t really matter because I usually do this indoors.
We have been in school for seven days. I feel comfortable with my classes. At the first day of school I felt a little nervous. It seemed interesting at first but now the work is a little harder. I am a visual learner and I like reading a lot. My hardest class was Mrs. Drummond because she always gave us a lot of work. My teacher is nice which she usually is for me. My easiest teacher is Ms. Biggs,which I have fun with all the time. The work is easy because she is nice. I have learned metalinguistics this fall. For example metalinguistics are patterns are with vowels and consonants. Report cards are coming out soon.I hope that I will get good marks and I will have a lot of fun.
Ms.Biggs is a teacher who is teaching grade 6s. Ms.Biggs and her students made a haunted house in her classroom.In Ms.Biggs haunted house I saw a person in the tombstone knocking on the tombstone that was just a little bit of Ms.Biggs haunted house but this is the whole thing. At first the two Screams were sitting there and when we crossed them they jumped up and tried to grab us. The second part was the vampire hound part.The vampire hound would go under the CAUTION line and try to grab you. One of the grade 6s told me to put my hand in the box and it felt so gooey she said it was her grandmothers liver. When we went out the grade the grade 6s told me to go where the old lady was. We went out and that was the end.
