The Haunted House
It first started with Ms.Biggs a teacher was in the hall telling us a story about a old lady why house got torn down to build our school.We walked in Ms.Biggs class room and there was two bloody Scream's and a vampire which was trying to grab the people how walked in.Then there was a cook with her grate grate grate gram a's liver and sayed to stick ower hand's in it.After that there was these stachus that would sort of toch you ,ok then there was that old lady at the beging of the story she was siting in a seet like she did when she had her own house.At the end the person at the door said do you have all your body part's are you missing a leg or a arm an eye but I don't think any one last anything.I thought that the haunted house was very good.
Junkyard Jonny
Manordale Public School started the month of February with two performances by Junkyard Jonny.His instruments are a little strange ,he uses garbage cans,pots,sinks and bucket's to perform his odd music.His lyrics encouraged us to reuse,reuse and recycle garbage.The music is not poetic and he does not use metaphors or similies in his lyrics.However the music has a strong beat and the music is creative and has a fast melody.Junkyard Jonny was able to play his instruments in harmony.At times I found the music really loud.The audience appeared to enjoy the performance.When it was over the audience clapped very loud,and they thanked Junkyard Jonny for coming to our school.Overall I thought the performance was ok.the music however was loud and sometimes bothered me .The lyrics were short and not very imaginative.Idid like the message about reuse,reduce and recycle.

On December the 8th my family and I are
going to get a Christmas tree that is tall but not to tall and big
but not to big .Every Christmas when we come home with the tree my
cat's go crazy and try to play with the tree.Every Christmas Eve we
always have people over at my house,and
the people that are coming to my house are
both my grandmother's and maybe my aunt and uncle . After dinner my brother and I get to open a present and play.On Christmas morning very early my brother and I wake up and open our presents.

A friend to me is someone that cares about me and someone I can trust about stuff. Likes to do things I never imagined but I like to. Friends are people that like you for how ever you are. if you're different or if you're the same, if you'r shy .And Sonya and kara are my BEST FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This Thanksgiving instead of staying home I went to a restaurant.When I heard my dad say we were going to a restaurant I thought O man why a restaurant why not a friends house for Thanksgiving. My Dad said we are going to a restraint and that's final. Then my Dad sent me to my room. The next day it was Thanksgiving .I wish the would go slow but it didn't . I was so sad because every Thanks giving we stayed home and now my Dad said we should try something else. But I didn't think so.In 20 min. we were going to the restraint and my mom made me wear straight black pants and a black t-shirt the two things felt like silk.When we got to the restraint there as a lot of people.When we got t are table and got the order. We ordered a jumbo size turkey a jumbo size turkey is very big.When the man came out with our jumbo size turkey he tripped and the turkey landed on my head.It was so slimy,when I got the turkey off of my head.I Threw the turkey and It landed right beside my two best friends Sonya and Kara.They were frightened,Sonya stuffed the turkey back on my head.After I got the turkey off my head I yelled food fight!.And that was the thanksgiving blow up.

On Friday December 19th 2003 Dave Devoe came to Manordale Public School and did a one man show in front of Grade's 4,5 and 6 to show how it was to be bullied.
Dave Devoe played three different character's,Edgar's mom ,Edgar and Marten Edgar's best friend but is not his friend any more.The main part
was at Edgar's school Marten bullied Edgar and Edgar stayed in the school for recess siting and stepping on
4 chair's and his little blue lunch box with pudding in it beside the chairs.
Edgar was wearing a striped T-shirt and overalls and no shoe's.The voicing for the three character's was talking and crying for Edgar, talking for Marten and screeching for Edgar's mom. I liked the play but when Dave Devoe yelled during the show it was scary.
First
Impression
Now that we have been in school for 6 days.I feel weaker then on summer holidays.At first I felt confused and it seemed interesting but now I feel relaxed.My hardest class is French because I don't speak it that well.My teacher is nice she usually is which is ok for me.My easiest class is spelling because I have worked on it a lot.The work is easy is easy at school because I remember some things from last year.I have learned about Canada this fall.For a example I know that Canada is the second largest country in the world.Grades are comming soon I hope that I get level 4's and level 3's wich is A's to B's.The summer was fun and we are all back to school and were did the summer go.
