I will never forget the day I learned to ride my bike without training wheels and I lost my tooth on the same day. It was a great, beautiful summer day and I was watching T.V. with my Mom. The day before my Mom had bought me a box of "Milky Cow popsicles. I had a very loose tooth and I was tugging at it and putting a popcicle on it so that the strings would go numb and that the tooth would fall out.
I was watching T.V. with my Mom with the popsicle in my mouth and just when it got to the best part of the show my tooth fell out@ How amazing!@ I ran to the tissue box and grabbed a tissue before the gum wouldn't be numb anymore and then it would start to bleed.
After the gum stopped bleeding, I got my Mom and brought her to my bike in the corner of the room. My bike was a pink Barbie bike (I liked Barbie then!) It had a big Barbie doll in the front of the bike and it had a hot pink seat with two white spots.
I had had a lot of practice on my bike and I thought "today's the day I take off the training wheels" but I wasn't quite sure that I was ready to ride my bike the first time with no training wheels, so I asked my Mom if she could just take one training wheel off, she said,d "Sure!". As soon as my Mom had taken a wheel off, I shot outside into the sunshine with the summer breeze that made the day perfect my making it nice and cool.
40 minute later, I came back home and asked my Mom to take the second wheel off so she did. When I opened the door, my mom looked at me, and I looker at her. My Mom said, "Now you be careful!" I smiled and headed outside again.
Finally I had arrived in the heart of the neighbourhood. All my friends were scattered around in the biggest parking lot. I went around telling everyone my victory and excitement. Some cared and some didn't. After half an hour, I thought I had told everyone of my friends, but I saw a boy standing next to his bike and looking up in the sky. He was another one of my friends so I went up to him. His name was Caleb and we all called him "The Dare Boy". I said, 'Hello Dare Boy@" Today I lost a tooth and I learned how to ride my bike without any training wheels!"
Caleb said "cool! But to prove it, let's see what you can do!"
I said, OK and got on my bike while standing on the sidewalk for support. When was ready. I started to ride my bike around the parking lot, and I thought that was pretty good for a beginner. Then I opened my eyes and I was going to fast! I couldn't stop! My brakes weren't working and there was a curb up ahead. Then BANG! I fell off my bike and I was on the concrete floor with my bike beside me. Then I came to realise that I had biked into a tree!
While I was on the floor unable to move much , one of my friends ran to my house and came back with my Mom running with her. My Mom sat down beside me and opened up her first aid kit, reached her hand in, and opened a box of band aids to cover my legs. When she was done, she helped me up and I got on my bike again . My Mom asked me if I wanted to go home, or stay outside with my friends, I chose to stay outside. My Mom smiled and started to walk home, looking back once and a while to smile and wave. I waved and smiled back to her.
When I had no sight of my Mom, I was ready to ride my bike again, but this time, I would keep my eyes open, stay at the speed that's right for me, and stay focust on where I was going.
My Novel Information...........
I am writing a story about my favourite character in my novel called "Why did the under wear cross the road". I'm writing about a grade 4 student " Jessica Zander. She's not popular and she is an child ACTOR . She wears fancy cloths and can't do anything that gets dirt under her finger nails.
Jessica is a BIG fan of a famous Hollywood movie director named "Gregory Ash Ford. Jessica lives in a state called Dover and she goes to a school called Spruce Valley Elementary.
Jessica is in a group with a boy named Justin and a girl named Margaret because the class or school is doing a competition for doing good deeds and the group that gets the most points by the dead line wins a trip to Tidal Wave Water Park!
I don't know the what Jessica looks like but I hope I find out in the next couple of chapters.
Dave Devoe plays in a (one man play) called ( The Fat Boys Dream) at Manordale Public School.
The play is about (bullying) and that bullying is not nice to do. He also described how you can end up to be when you're being bullied all the time but he didn't describe it in words, he described it through the acting of the play.
For his costuming he wore bright blue overalls that were short at the bottom and a green and white striped T-shirt. Since Dave played 3 characters, he needed costumes. But he used the stuff he had.
For the mother, he stood on his toes and crossed his arms. For the bully (Martin), he put one half of his overalls down to make them look like shorts. And for Edgar, he left his clothes just the way they were supposed to be and played with his toes.
This is the information of the play that I've seen.
Some people celebrate different traditions. Hanukkah is one tradition people celebrate. Some people have calendars with chocolate in them for counting up the days until Christmas, and people who celebrate Hanukkah have something like that but it's a lot different.
Instead of chocolate calendars, they use something called a Menorah. A Menorah is a type of calendar but holds candles. Ever time a candle is lit in the Menorah, that means that is a day of Hanukkah and there are 9 days of Hanukkah.
For Hanukkah people play games and get one present a day. One game they play is they spin a top and it tells them to do something.
My Dream Vacation would be to go to Germany. I would go with my mom and my sister and the three of us could explore. We could even find out stuff that we don't even know about Germany's History. We could learn how to do stuff like speak German or cook the German way.
We could travel by cable cars( Which I think is really cool!) We could go to the shops and feel the material that the Germans use for clothing. We could go to restaurants and smell and taste the the delicious Schnitzel. We could see German comedy shows. We could hear the outside living world and the busy people down every street. We could do a lot of things and they would all suit us for our dream vacation.
This is what I want to do for my dream vacation and I know I'll have a lot of fun!
Yesterday was Thanksgiving and it was fun because there was NO SCHOOL and I got to spend the WHOLE DAY with my mom! Instead of having turkey for Thanksgiving, we had lobster and it was about half the size of my desk. We also had mini carrots, peas, green beans the size of my pinky, hot dog rolls cut into half, and wild rice.
After that we watched a movie called " Unconditional Love" and it was hilarious and the movie was from Rogers 2-day rental. When the movie was done, my mom started to watch the Star Trek movie marathon so I went upstairs to my room and played some songs on my key- board. When I could play some songs a bit, I showed my mom what I could play, then we went down stairs and watched Lizzie-Mcuire.
After, my mom and I played some games and they were, monopoly, twister, and a card game called GO FISH.
At 7:00 we watched Who Wants To Be A MILLIONAIRE ! During a commercial, I asked my mom "Why do we have Thanksgiving?" And she said " We have it because we are thankful for all the things that God has given us and this is the only day we can say thank you to him or her.
It was a rainy day outside. Everyone had their umbrellas up and were putting them down to go inside. Teachers were coming outside to help kids put their umbrellas down, but not my teacher and she usually does, I wonder why she's not doing that today? I put my umbrella down and went inside I saw Jennifer so I went up to her. Everyone in our class is talking in the hall, I said to Jennifer, and she said if you're wondering why look at our teacher. So I did It's close to Halloween but she's a bit over dressed. I said to Jennifer then Cindy came along and said is that our sappily teacher? Before me or Jennifer could answer, Sonya cam along and said yes she is our sappily teacher but I think she's the witch from the Wizard Of Oz and that made us laugh for a little bit then we went to class.
We all say down and started to write down our to do lists on the board when our sappily teacher, not knowing her name yet, SCREACHED her nails across the board to get our attention. Hello she said my name is Mrs. Mcwitch. When every body herd her name, they were in thought, but after one minute of thought and silence, everyone started to giggle but Mrs. Mcwitch told us to stop and we started our work.
What if armies turned into cross country teams.
What if commanders turned into teachers.

What if bad letters turned into good letters.
What if an army tank turned into a sprinkler.
What if poppies turned into happy faces.
What if hate became love.
What if guns turned into water guns.
What if worry became happiness.
Why have war if you can have something better.

My cat ask like a pin ball. She bounces off any wall.
She plays with our dog. She puts her claws in the couch as if it
was a log.
She jumps around. She bounces off the ground.
That's one thing I know about my cat.
She enjoys my friends. She goes with a lot of trends.
She stays at home. She plays with my comb.
That's another thing I know about my cat.
I love her dearly. She doesn't understand her name very clearly. but that's the way she is.
She's only three. She doesn't like tea and that's something we have in common.
My name is Abbey and I have a little tabby but her name is really Peanut.
Sometimes she's mean. Sometimes she's cute.
Sometimes she fights. Sometimes she's mute.
This is all I know about my cat.
I call her PEANY WEENY WOO and I love her too.
Every body has different favourite activities. When I was younger my favourite activity was reading. Now I'm older, I find reading not very exciting . Sometimes I go to my friends house and all they want to do is watch T.V. and they waste all their spare time watching T.V. . When I have spare time I either play with my friends or play with my pets if my friends aren't watching T.V. .
The things that I do might sound boring but I like doing them because I get my second helping of my friends and my first helping of my pets.
The activity I need to think about the most is art because one I have art lessons and two because that's been my favourite activity since I was two years old. Another reason why I LOVE it because it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold, good weather or bad weather because it doesn't come from the sun, the clouds, the rain, or the snow . It comes from the heart and that's all that matters.
