"Eye of the Tiger"
Here is our Christmas story. It is a fateful tail and the whirling dervish that struck our creche scene.
| Hail, hail the gang's all here. |
Mary & Joseph had a baby. |
Jesus is born! |
| As was foretold, many came to see the child. |
The shepherds, no longer abiding in the fields. |
The Magi arrived with their gifts. |
| But later that day, someone knocked one faithful shepherd flat. |
Quick reflexes, by a nearby Persian, caught her. |
|
|
"Last year Max ate the last sheep.", said a king. |
"Two years before it was Sable.", said a shepherd. (He was here last year!) |
|
| By the windows big Mitzi was squirrel watching. |
She could never be so energetic. |
"Who me?", said Sady-the-Innocent, -new to the flock. |
| She looked up at her daddy on the stairs. "I am innocent." |
But once his back was turned... |
she demonstrated her climbing skills. |
| In sitting by the CD player, she knocked one CD overboard with a clatter. |
Stepping skillfully across to the end table... |
over to the coffee table. ... |
| beside her friend Frosty, who might also need a quick cuff... at least he did last time. |
Over to the caterpillar. |
I look up and see nothing. |
| Nothing on this side. |
"Fire in the hole!" Overboard goes one toy. |
"Now what can I do?" |
| "What else can go overboard?" |
Itchy work, this. |
Nobody up here. |
| Nothing up. |
Mitzi, the elder member of the feline family, looks worried. |
Time to go get her! |
| Time for a play. |
"I see you!" |
"Are you this way?" |
| "I see you" |
Cheese it! The cops! |
I'm innocent. |
| The angel's light shone down. |
I will be a good girl. |
