Niagara-on-the-Lake

On a trip to NOTL, as they call it, we took a side trip to Ball's Falls, part of the Niagara Conservation Authority. It has a wonderful walking path. In the education centre they display information about the hydrogeology of the area.

Ball's Falls land was donated. In July the waterfall was not as magnificent as in spring, but the information about glaciation of S. Ontario was interesting. The moss was beautful, as it had been a wet spring.

While we were in our B & B, I spotted an MNR employee trapping and innoculating raccoons for rabies. It was an interesting chat as she explained what she was doing.
