Parking Spot & Fence

A parent watches from the branch as we move in and out of the garage. Poopies on the car, too!

They do not move a muscle...or wing. The poor mommy & daddy fly around fearful for their babies

Who knew? We only own to this side of the white cord. The township owns up from there to the road.

The neighbours think their 3 (count 'em) dogs need a fence to run free. We comply. What can we do?

That is a lot of gravel to move for two months worth of dogs outside! I hope they do not leave them out for long. They barked for hour when the owners were away the other evening.

The shed just makes it in the boundary. They cannot afford to put it on all 3 sides of their property this year. What is the point?!

We moved most of the wood pile.Next year they will fence it in on three sides. What a lot of work. A call into DMC brings help for us.

The fence will run about 200' to the water. We have to pay to move the gravel and beams. There goes part of your inheritance!

He lifted wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of 3/4" gravel. Brian moved this pile of wood for the third time.

Such a shame the neighbours want to put in a black chain link fence to keep the dogs in.

Dave stupidvises with his bad back. Wayne looked after him and wouldn't let him move the big 6 x 6 beams.

Discussion and debate on day 2.

Wayne worked sooo hard, as did we all.

Now I have to rake it in. My arms are so sore.

What a waste of time, backhoe, and energy back in 2007. We had our tree man ship many branches and stack our wood.

Those big 6" & 10" spikes were handy. We had wood left over. Not much energy, though. Shallow rooted trees surround us.

A smaller but useable size. The neighbours snuck over to check it out but did not make any comments nor a thank you for getting the work done so quickly. We were so proud of ourselves.

I raked and raked and replaced the ground with wood chips.

Looks good as new. Did I mention I ache?!

What a nice house. Too bad things keep going wrong. There was so much mom and dad couldn't take care of or didn't tell us about.

Pretty flowers.

Astilbe is pretty.

The wagon flowers flourish.
